In 2008 Bob Mach cautiously traveled north through rebel territory to Zanapledougou.

 

Here he preached the funeral for Mr. Sapane Coulibaly's father with another Ivoirian pastor. After two hours of prayer and preaching the first night, nine people were saved.

 

The next night 51 were saved. At the end of this second service, the village chief told us he would give us a piece of land and asked us to build a church for the new 60 converts we had in this village.

 

In 2009 a church was started and directed by Coulibaly. He also began a literacy center in this village and expanded to surrounding villages.

 

In January of 2021 the Lord called Bro Coulibaly home, and we now are praying for a pastor to take this work.
